The exterior of your log home may have gaps or cracks in the logs. The stain may be damaged from water and the UV rays found in sun light. Cabin & Timber provides an array of ways to restore your log home finish including:

The gaps, cracks, checks and holes in your logs can also be repaired with the Cabin & Timber chinking service. We carefully fill in each gap and crack with a specialized filler called chinking. Chinking is a modern polymer that looks like caulking with sand in it. Log cabin interiors can be chinked, sealed and stained at any time of the year.
Once the logs in your cabin are cleaned, refinished and drafts are sealed, the exterior can be coated with a new UV resistant stain and pesticide. (Many modern log home stains come with built-in UV inhibitors, mold inhibitors and insect repellents to deter wood boring wasps, carpenter ants, spiders and powder post beetles)
